About Us

A graduate from the University of Kent, Margaret has over twenty-five years experience of genealogical work. She has contributed features to a number of magazines including Family Tree Magazine and Bygone Kent and had several books published, the most recent of which was a study of the Dukes of York. Recent articles include a study of population growth and disease patterns in Georgian Ramsgate for Archaeologia Cantiana and on early nineteenth century medical patronage for the Journal of Medical Biography. She is currently preparing a paper on the transmission of plague in the 1630s.

An IT professional for many years, Margaret is also skilled in desk top publishing and website design.
